Peek-a-boo

"Hello! Who's there?"

Just over the last few weeks, Gloria figured out that she can peek on anyone that comes into her room after she wakes up from her naps. She'll push down her bumper pad and look at you with her big blue eyes and a wide grin on her face. When she sees you, she'll giggle and let go of the bumper so it goes back up. Then after you say something, she'll push it down again, giggle, and let go.

"Peek-a-boo!"

"I see you!"

Now that we've moved her crib to a different wall since she's going to be sleeping in there at night, I'm not sure if she'll keep peeking or not. I'll bet that she'll figure out that she can peek out, but just on a different side.

And another peek-a-boo story...Gloria has been playing peek-a-boo for quite awhile. She'll pull blankets, clothes, pillows, anything over her face and wait for us to say "Where's Gloria?" before she pulls them off of her face with a big grin and giggles. Sometimes she's waits extra long before pulling back the blanket and you can hear her laughing and you know she is smiling.
