Level 4

Gloria is moving on up in the Gymboree world. She was becoming too advanced for Level 3 (which is for 10-16 month olds) and since she is so confident and steady on her feet I decided it was time to move her on up. Level 4 is for children 16-22 months. Well, Gloria started it two days before she turned 14 months. She fit in great. Sure, some of the kids are much bigger, but she just does her own thing and gets into all of the activities.

She explores the slides,

the trampoline,


the rocking horse,


the ramps,


the mats, the stairs, the balls, and the tunnels.


There really is no stopping her once she's there.

It's great because Level 4 focuses on problem solving and different concepts like "push and pull" and "side-by-side." Something else that is neat about this level is that at the end each child gets stamps of Gymbo the clown, the mascot, on his or her hands. Gloria loves getting her stamps. She usually will get them on both hands, but once she got it on her foot and another time on her tummy. Whenever I tell her we're going to Gymboree, she looks at her hand and points at it. She knows she gets a stamp and then she'll look at it for the rest of the day.

"Who is that cutie pie?"

"I think she needs a kiss!"

"And another!"


"One more!"
