Hoppin' down the bunny trail

Gloria visited the Easter Bunny yesterday! She was a tad bit hesitant at first, but once Rob walked up with her and she touched the bunny's ears then Gloria was ready to sit down. She sat still for a few pictures, looking at me and Rob, and then she decided to check the bunny out a little more. When we got her off of his lap and started walking away, Gloria was waving at him and didn't seem to want to walk too far away.




Gloria and I had visited the Easter Bunny a few weeks ago when we were at the mall. She didn't get out of her stroller or anything, but since there wasn't any line, we just walked up to him and talked to him. He was petting her arm and I was trying to get her to pet his arm, but she wasn't going to do that. I pointed out his ears and he blew her some kisses. When we walked out of his area, Gloria started blowing kisses to him and waving. I really think that the "pre-visit" helped her be more comfortable with him when we had her sit on his lap.



And, before we left the mall, Gloria just had to ride on the merry-go-round. She loves it. This time was the first time that she actually stayed on the horse for the entire time. Usually she wants off after a round or two. It probably helped that she was on a stationary horse that didn't move. As soon as she got off she wanted to go again. She lets you know that she wants to do something by pointing to your mouth and then pointing to whatever it is she wants or wants to do. So, when Rob brought her by me, she pointed to my mouth and then pointed to the horses. She wanted to go again, but we didn't. One time is enough - especially if we go on it every time we're at the mall.
