Flashback to Nov. 09

On November 17, 2009, Gloria and I went to the library to pick out some books and play for awhile. When we were checking out our books, a portly old man with a white beard came in. Gloria looked at him, and then told me it was Santa.

On November 20, 2009, Gloria and I were at Grammy's house getting ready for dinner. I was standing in the kitchen with my mom while Gloria was sitting at the table. I heard her say, "kitty, Elmos..." I walked over to her and she had her hands folded. I asked her if she was praying and she said, "no, no, no." I walked away and as I did I heard Gloria say some jibberish and then "kitty, Elmos, Grammy, food, milk." She must have been praying :)

Mother's Day 2010

Happy Mother's Day!
May 9, 2010

Rob had asked Gloria what she wanted to do with Mommy on Mother's Day and she told him she wanted to ride the carousel, down by the beach. So that's exactly what we did!

What a cheeseball!

We had lots of fun riding it together!

(I'm wearing my new peacock shirt that was a very unexpected surprise from my mommy!)

We followed our carousel riding with lunch at Qdoba, and then dinner at Pizza Hut with Grammy and the rest of the family. It was a wonderful day!

End of April, Beginning of May 2010

I had to go to the eye doctor in Grand Rapids, so Gloria and I took a trip to the zoo while we were there! Feeding the geese outside of the zoo

"Ready to feed the goose!"

This goose is Gloria's friend. He comes up to her whenever he sees her, hoping that she's brought along some bread. Now he has a "wife" and two babies who come visit too!

"Being very, very silly!"

Gloria is trying to learn how to pump her legs when she swings. She'll say, "In, out. In, out," but she doesn't move her legs with her words - just keeps them out!

Future gymnast perhaps?!

A budding artist!
