After finding eggs at Grammy's house on Easter morning, Gloria, Rob, and I got ready to go to church.
"In my Easter dress - front and back!"
It was Gloria's first time going to church. Unfortunately it was right during what should have been her nap time. We were prepared to go into the nursery or sit in the fellowship hall, but we didn't have to. After the choir sang their first songs, Gloria was closing her eyes. She laid her head on Rob's shoulder and there she slept until the service was over. She slept through the singing, the praying, and the preaching!
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa H.'s house to eat and play. Great-Grandma H. was there along with Auntie April, Zach, Uncle Keith, Betty, Aunt Karen, Heather, Adam, and Ami.
"Yum! Easter dinner tastes good!"
Great-Grandma H. had brought Easter baskets and eggs for Ami and Gloria to find. They both were very good at it. Gloria sat down and opened up each egg, looking for puffs (since she had found them earlier at Grammy's house.) I slipped a few Cheerios in some of them for her.
"We're going on an egg hunt."
